On Saturday, the 16th, I was pleasantly surprised by a long distance phone call. When I answered it and heard, this is Grandma Amos, I couldn't believe my ears. At first I thought it was Sockit-Chick playing a joke, but it wasn't. It really was Grandma Amos. What a pleasant woman she is and sounds just like her daughter. I loved getting that phone call, Asena, thank you so much. It really made my day.
we talk about our NZ family at least once a day here at the Moose house!

Really, Mum called - We were away in Nelson and Mapua - hope she didn't let too many seletons out of the closet! I spoke to her yesterday and she didn't say a thing.....
Yes, I was speachless with surprise. No she didn't tell too many tales. I told her she had a great daughter and family. That you, Mark, and Cole were perfect guest in our home, and sometime soon we were going to collect on your hospitality. You and her sound the same on the phone, and you both say yea yea yea. She laughed when I pointed that out.
