THE START OF A BUSY WEEKEND

This is Hannah's first ever visit to our Summer home and the first visit of the season for Mitch and Brad, annnnd, the first time we have been able to get the chipmunks to eat out of our hands. It was a really hot day on Sat, so we barbecued and had some laughs. We couldn't stay because Moose-Man had to work for 5;30 and I was recieving overnite estrogen guests for 6pm in town. So we packed up after supper and headed home.

Cooooool! Feeding chipmunks (can you catch anything from them?) We don't have chipmunks in NZ.

There have been no known deseases caught from a chipmunk that I know of. I hate to say that they are from the rodent family, so I won't say it, because they are so cute and gentle, but very smart. Now when I arrive I make a kissing sound and they will come looking for food from us.

Smart alright. He is just waiting for the right moment to strike! you'll be sorry when the little bastard hooks on to your throat!

Nozzle and Moose-Man are afraid of little critters. Nozzle even jumps for cover when the humming bird comes too close. Don't deny it boys, I have living witnesses!

your witnesses are chumps and have no credability

I am a little concerned with the 'kissing' sounds to attract rodents....it leaves a very amusing image on ones mind! I hope the little buggers don't get too aroused!

Hooray - I have finally managed to score two minutes between kids and chores to catch up and say a big 'How ya all doin'? I see the piss-taking and slagging is as good as ever. Luckily Merrie is great on this computer stuff and keeeping you all up to date with the Kiwi side of things here in NZ.

Seems only yesterday you were all digging yourselves out of the snow and now gloating about the hot summer sun at summer house - oh soooooo jealous. We are into the fog and cold - had our first frost yesterday (about as close to snow as we get...minus 1 degree bbrrrr).

Must go...Cole has 'crashed' (yeah laugh ya cheeky buggers!) on the couch. Thank goodness Merrie is home in the morning...sometimes a bit of oestrogen is good about the house - in controlled doses (will I get in trouble for that?)

while she was gone did you remove the toilet seat all together or just leave it up?
