POOR GREGGY, KEPT GETTING SICKER AND SICKER SO THE DRS DECIDED THEY HAD TO ACT. THEY HAD TO TAKE OUT A PIECE OF HIS LARGE BOWEL, AND DRAIN THE ABCESS. HE WILL FEEL BETTER IN A FEW DAYS. THE UPSETTING THIS , HE HAD TO BE SET UP WITH A COLOSTOMY. GOOD NEWS IS IT CAN BE REVERSED IN ABOUT 6-10 MONTHS. THIS IS GOOD NEWS BECAUSE THE DRS SAID THERE WAS A GOOD CHANCE IT WOULD NOT BE REVERSABLE.
HE SHOULD BE IN FINE FORM FOR THE WEDDING!!!

I'm very saddened to hear that Greg has been so ill, please send him our regards and let him know I apologize for being out of touch until this point but many things have been happening leaving little time for blogging. I'll pop up and see him tomorrow if that is ok.

Nuc-Man...Greggy would LOVE to see you!! Sockit-Chick...I printed your message from the end of your blog to put on his wall, along with other get well wishes. He is slowly moving around and is wanting to eat. That is a good sign.
Tell Greg We're thinking of him. The girls were quite concerned to read that Greg was in hospital (particularly Sophie). They know he's going to be alright. Get well Greg.
Scott and I have been to see Greg today. He is in good spirits and can't wait to "bail out" of the hospital. Poor man hasn't had a bit to eat in days. That in itself would have me tapping out. He woke up to discover he had a raging "blue veiner" yesterday and according to Dr. Longwood that is a very good sign that one is definitely on the road to a speedy recovery!

Get well soon Greg! We have the wedding feast to end all feasts planned and it just wouldn't be the same without Greg there to put a dent into it! Please let him know his steak will be waiting for him at the wedding.
