Ok, everyone is going to eat this any way...but what the h%$@. I think I cooked it too long, or mabe too hot?? It crumbled and broke, but still taste good. Come on NZers give it to me!!
NICE JOB!!! Yes regular white sugar or castor sugar (it doesn't matter which). Somethimes it does crumble but we just disguise that with the whipped cream and whatever topping you put on it (kiwi, chocolate etc).
Our recipe is to cook for 1 hour at 100 degrees celcius and then crack the oven door open and leave in there for about another 2 hours (or until it cools).
